Zibit Datalab established in 2008 as a resource database of 'PM Abs' for mobile phone forensics. In 2011, a range of services were launched including Data Recovery, Data Destruction and Digital Forensics. Since Zibit Datalabs launch in February 2011 and as a result of expansion operations were moved to Wolverhampton, with a secondary Lab based at Millennium point in Birmingham.
Our recovery and forensic experts are fully trained work in accordance with ISO 9001 guidelines to give you the best possible service. We work under strict procedures to ensure your data is kept secure and confidential. Full ISO 9001 certification is expected early 2012.
In September 2011 The Student Forensics Forum was relaunched in association with a number of other companies and students. The forum caters for students studying a forensics or security related course and includes students and practitioners from all walks and disciplines. The forum provides an ideal place to interact with fellow students, practitioners and potential employers.
The foundation of Zibit Datalab lies in the 'PM Abs' database, which hosts a searchable list of PM absolute address ranges, used to manually dump data from a mobile phones memory. Although there are many applications that can perform this task automatically, these may be prohibitively expensive. Particularly if you are a student or starting out as an independant practitioner. Using a low cost 'flasher box' and PM absolutes it is possible to obtain data in a forensically sound manner without the need for expensive software or hardware.
"I work in IT myself and I wish I could be dealing with this level of professionalism every time. I highly recommend this company."
